Monica Schaefer

Monica Schaefer began their work experience in 2008 as a Research Assistant at the University of Victoria. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Graduate Student at the University of Toronto. In 2013, they joined STEMCELL Technologies as a Sales Representative, and in 2016, they became a Life Science Specialist at VWR. Currently, they are working at Refeyn as a Technical Sales Specialist starting in November 2022.

Monica Schaefer has a diverse education history. Monica began their academic journey at the University of Victoria from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry. Monica then pursued further education at the University of Toronto from 2009 to 2012, obtaining a Master's degree in Medical Biophysics. During this time, they gained in-depth knowledge in the field of Medical Biophysics. In 2012, they also completed a short-term certificate course in Business Commercialization at Case Western Reserve University. In 2018-2019, Monica embarked on a Yoga Teacher Training program called Open Door Yoga Yoga Teacher Training, earning a Yoga Instructor (200hr) degree. Throughout their education, Monica has shown a diverse range of interests, including science, business, and yoga.
