Laura Tessin is a software and systems engineer with extensive experience in satellite development. Currently employed at Reflex Aerospace, Laura has been involved in building satellites since January 2023. Previously, Laura engaged in self-directed learning at Recurse Center, completing a 12-week program in early 2022. At Loft Orbital Solutions, from June 2019 to August 2021, Laura contributed to the assembly, integration, and testing of satellite subsystems and collaborated on Loft's inaugural satellite missions. Laura's career began with an internship at Airbus Defence and Space in 2017, focusing on the System Reference Database for a satellite platform. Laura holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Information Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
