Avadesh Meduri

Avadesh Meduri is a Lead Robotics Control Engineer at Reflex Robotics since January 2025, previously serving as a PhD student at New York University from September 2019 to December 2024, where research focused on integrating high-modality sensor data into model predictive control for industrial robots. Experience includes a role as a Humanoid Robot Control Engineer at Agility Robotics in mid-2023, and a research internship at Max Planck Institutes Tübingen in early 2019, developing advanced control systems for dynamic behaviors. Earlier, as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Avadesh led a project on optical character recognition using deep learning and contributed to various initiatives in computer vision and manufacturing engineering. Avadesh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, completed in December 2019, and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from New York University.
