Michael Sippey

Michael Sippey is an accomplished product management executive with extensive experience across several prominent companies. Currently serving as an Executive in Residence at Reforge since August 2021, Sippey also holds advisory roles at Wolf Games, enrich, and Readwise. Sippey's previous leadership positions include VP of Product at Descript and Chief Product Officer at Outside. Notably, Sippey spent several years at Medium, where responsibilities included leading product management and design, as well as serving as VP of Labs, steering product innovations following the acquisition of Glose. Earlier experience includes co-founding and serving as CEO of Talkshow Industries, which was acquired by Medium, and holding the role of VP Product at Twitter. Sippey holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley and a BA in English from Colgate University.
