Robert Perry

Robert Perry is an experienced Network Security Engineer currently working at RegEd since August 2023. Prior to this role, Robert served as Information Security Manager and Network Administrator at Carmel Unified School District from January 2016 to August 2023, where management of network security and a $1.2 million budget supported 2,500 students and 400 staff across eight sites. Earlier experience includes Cyber Security Engineer and Network Administrator at Monterey Credit Union from June 2007 to December 2015, overseeing incident response and information security for over 22,000 members. Robert began a career as an Independent Network Security Consultant from 1994 to 2007, conducting various information security projects, and served as Network Security Specialist at Monte Vista Christian School from July 2000 to June 2004, achieving a significant reduction in security incidents. Robert holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology with a focus on Software Development from Western Governors University, earned between May 2011 and April 2018.
