Michelle Lugo

Michelle Lugo has extensive experience in quality control and microbiology within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Currently serving as a Principal QA Specialist at Regeneron since July 2013, Michelle has held various roles, including Associate Manager Quality Control and Senior Microbiologist. Additionally, Michelle works as an Associate Project Manager at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since May 2019. Prior experience includes positions as QC Analyst III at Novartis and Microbiologist II at Novo Nordisk A/S, where responsibilities encompassed method verification, release testing, and sterility testing in FDA-regulated environments. Michelle began the professional journey as a QC Analyst at Organon Teknika focusing on live attenuated vaccine testing. Michelle holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Microbiology and Zoology/Animal Biology from NC State University, awarded in 1997.
