Cate Hutton

Cate Hutton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business planning and operations within academic institutions. Currently serving as the Director of Business Planning and Operations at the University of California, Office of the General Counsel since February 2008, Cate previously held the role of Director of Business Development and Business Services at the California Digital Library from September 1999 to March 2008. Cate's career in the University of California Office of the President, University Relations as a Researcher/Librarian from 1995 to 1999 laid the groundwork for a strong background in information management, further enhanced by a M.L.I.S. degree from the University of California, Berkeley. An academic foundation in Philosophy and Maritime Studies was established with a B.A. from Middlebury College.
