Samantha Yost

Samantha Yost is a Senior Scientist at REGENXBIO Inc. since March 2018, specializing in the structure-based design of AAV vectors for gene therapy. Major contributions include leading the establishment of a Biodistribution Core, pioneering new methods of structural characterization using cryo-electron microscopy in collaboration with Rutgers University, and enhancing AAV production efficiency. Prior experience includes roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Research Scientist, where extensive work was done on CRISPR-edited gene knockout pools for immuno-oncology, and a postdoctoral position focusing on hepatitis C virus research at Rutgers University.
