Dr. J. McBride

Dr. J. McBride currently serves as a Private School Consultant at Region 10 ESC, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Dr. McBride worked at DeSoto Independent School District from July 2013 to June 2023 as an Instructional Leader, overseeing the development, organization, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of instructional programs for grades 6-8, with a strong focus on ensuring student success on the STAAR assessments. Dr. McBride holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Oral Roberts University, a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Jarvis Christian University, and two Master's Degrees—one in Curriculum and Instruction from Midwestern State University and another in Urban Studies/Affairs from UT Arlington.
