Shavannia M. Dash

Shavannia M. Dash, Ed.D., currently serves as the Assistant Director of Teaching & Learning Services and Head Start/Early Head Start at Region 10 ESC since September 2019, and as a Specialist/Field Supervisor in the College of Education at The University of Texas at Arlington since August 2018. Previously, Shavannia held various roles including Principal and School Improvement Consultant at Dallas ISD, Director of English Language Arts & Reading at Golden Rule Schools, and Principal & Teacher Certification Supervisor at Walden University. Shavannia's extensive experience in education spans over two decades, focusing on instructional leadership, curriculum development, and teacher support. Academic qualifications include two Master's degrees from East Texas A&M University in Educational Leadership and Elementary Education, along with a BS in Human Development from Upper Iowa University.
