Katy Wright

Katy Wright is an experienced engineering technologist specializing in corridor management within the Region of Waterloo's Transportation and Environmental Services since October 2020. Previously, Katy worked at WSP for three years as an Environmental Scientist/Technician, where responsibilities included overseeing geotechnical and environmental drilling investigations and executing various field programs related to contaminated site projects. Prior roles include Civil/Geotechnical Field Technician at WSP, focusing on underground infrastructure inspections and laboratory testing, and a summer position in the Lexus Paint Department at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada. Katy holds an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Environmental Engineering Applications from Conestoga College. Additional experience includes serving as a Research & Teaching Assistant at Wilfrid Laurier University and working as a cast member at Cineplex.
