Ms. Atwood has served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of Regional since September 2020. Prior to September 2020, Ms. Atwood served as VP, Deputy General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer since May 2017. From August 2014 (when she joined Regional) until May 2017, she served as Deputy General Counsel. Prior to joining Regional, Ms. Atwood was an attorney in the Business Litigation practice group of Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, LLP (now known as Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP) from 2008 to 2014. Ms. Atwood holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from Clemson University and a J.D. degree from the University of Georgia School of Law.
