Heather Lyall

Heather Lyall is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Senior External Communications Manager at Registers of Scotland since July 2019. Previously, Heather held various roles at The Scottish Parliament from September 2012 to June 2019, including Senior Assistant Clerk, Assistant Clerk, and Senior Researcher. Additional expertise includes a consultancy position with UNDP in Fiji in 2016, where Heather focused on capacity building for the Fijian Parliament, and a role as Learning Network Manager at the Scottish Government from 2008 to 2012. Heather began a career with Communities Scotland as an Accelerated Graduate Trainee from 2006 to 2008. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations from PR Academy, a Post Graduate Certificate in Mediation & Conflict Resolution from the University of Strathclyde, a Post Graduate Certificate in Public Policy from the University of Glasgow, and an MA in International Relations & Spanish from the University of St Andrews.
