Ashique Tanveer

Ashique Tanveer is an accomplished IT leader with extensive experience in program management and technical roles within federal health programs. Currently serving as the Director of Health Systems for REI Systems, Ashique manages a significant 220+ staff program for the FDA, overseeing critical applications that underpin national food and drug safety. With a decade-long role as an adjunct faculty member in the Computer Science Department at Montgomery College, Ashique has dedicated over 1,500 hours to educating students in various programming languages and systems. Previous positions include senior roles at Booz Allen Hamilton, where Ashique managed large-scale federal projects for organizations such as the NIH, FDA, and CMS, contributing to significant advancements in health IT and process automation. Ashique holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
