Michelle Kirkpatrick

Michelle (Buckman) Kirkpatrick serves as the Vice President & Corporate Controller at REI, where leadership includes oversight of the Corporate Controller organization, Treasury, Strategic Sourcing, Procure to Pay, and Tax teams totaling around 75 individuals. With prior experience as Assistant Controller and Interim Controller at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Michelle managed global financial operations, and at T-Mobile, held multiple roles advancing through the accounting organization to Senior Manager, overseeing diverse accounting functions and providing financial analysis. Michelle began a career in auditing at Ernst & Young and holds a BABA degree in Accounting & Information Systems from the UW Foster School of Business.
