Ren Chen

Ren Chen currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer at WeRide, a leading L4 autonomous driving company, where responsibilities include managing strategic partnerships, investor relations, and corporate development. Significant achievements at WeRide include negotiating a $100MM investment from Uber and establishing AV fleet sales and a US SaaS business. In addition to this role, Ren is an advisor at a stealth AI startup and Reka AI, where contributions as Chief Business Officer and Chief Financial Officer involved building finance functions, negotiating distribution agreements, and raising over $100MM from investors. Previously, Ren held the position of Global Head of Internet Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley, providing capital markets and M&A advisory, and held roles at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and Merrill Lynch. Ren Chen is the founder and former CEO of 151 Enterprises, a company specializing in gaming and web hosting solutions, and holds a B.A. in Government with advanced coursework in Economics from Dartmouth College.
