Dynamics Engineer II at Relativity Space

Aaron Fang is a Dynamics Engineer I at Relativity Space since May 2024. Previously, Aaron served as Technical Director and Suspension Lead for Cal Poly Racing from August 2019 to June 2024, overseeing the suspension design of the 2021 Combustion car and managing a team of ten students. Aaron also contributed to drivetrain design projects, focusing on isolator sizing and the optimization of rear differential mounts using ANSYS FEA. Aaron's internship experiences include roles at SpaceX as a Starship Engineering Intern and Falcon Engineering Intern, where responsibilities encompassed loads and dynamics modeling, as well as structures analysis and testing. Additionally, Aaron worked as a Manufacturing Design Intern at Apple, involved in new process development. Aaron earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2023.
