Alan Au is an experienced software engineering professional currently serving as the Flight Software Manager at Relativity Space since December 2020, where responsibilities include delivering flight software for the Terran R rocket. Prior to this role, Alan held multiple positions at Walt Disney Imagineering from July 2008 to November 2020, culminating as a Principal Software Engineer, contributing to notable attractions such as Mystic Manor, Rise of the Resistance, and the Tron roller coaster, while developing real-time safety-critical code in C++ for the Vxworks operating system. Alan holds a degree in Information and Computer Science from UC Irvine and has completed an Artificial Intelligence Nanodegree Program from Udacity.
