Alejandro Sosa is a seasoned aerospace engineer with significant experience in guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) performance engineering. Currently serving as Lead GNC Performance Engineer at Relativity Space, Alejandro previously held positions at Sedaro, where contributions included leading modeling and simulation for a satellite digital twin platform and collaborating with executive leadership on proposals and growth strategies. At Virginia Tech, Alejandro performed research as a Graduate Research Assistant on autonomous drone systems and orbital dynamics. Alejandro also co-founded a graduate team at NASA focused on a Mars Ascent Vehicle and has led teams in designing innovative propulsion systems for NASA's Artemis campaign. Educationally, Alejandro holds a Master of Science and two Bachelor degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Physics from Virginia Tech.
