Brian Badders

Brian Badders is an experienced aerospace engineer with a strong background in launch operations and spacecraft integration. Currently serving as Principal Launch Operations Engineer at Relativity Space since July 2021, Brian has held multiple engineering roles including Staff and Senior Launch Operations Engineer. Prior to this, from March 2014 to May 2021, Brian was a Manager at SpaceX, where leadership included overseeing the Fairing Refurbishment program and managing payload integrations for various clients, including governmental space agencies. Brian co-founded Biorbit, LLC, focusing on bioreactor platform development for space applications, and has held research positions in academia and NASA, contributing to small spacecraft technology and life support system designs. Brian holds a Master of Science in Space Studies from the University of North Dakota and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
