Michael Smat is a skilled propulsion engineer at Relativity Space, with a diverse background in engineering roles across various organizations. Previously, Michael served as the Manufacturing Lead at the USC Rocket Propulsion Laboratory and held the position of Mechanical Design Engineer at the USC Space Engineering Research Center. Additional experience includes working as a Test Equipment Engineer at Moog Inc. and as a Customer Service Anchor at USC Auxiliary Services. Michael holds a Master of Science in Astronautical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Southern California.
