Michael Zody

Michael Zody is an experienced aerospace professional currently serving as an Avionics Integration Engineer II at Relativity Space since May 2024. Prior to this role, Zody worked as an Avionics Harness Design Engineer at ABL Space Systems from July 2022 to May 2024 and as an Electrical Simulation Engineer at Bye Aerospace, Inc. from March 2021 to June 2022. Earlier career experiences include a position as a Traveler at Traveler, material handling at Coast Aluminum and Architectural, and serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington College of Engineering, where numerical simulations of combustion transients were conducted. Zody’s professional journey began in the US Navy, where a diverse range of roles were held, including Watch Commander and CASS Calibration/Advanced Maintenance Technician. Zody holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Washington and an Associate of Science from North Seattle College.
