Shane Cioni

Shane Cioni is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as Sr. Director of Manufacturing Engineering at Relativity Space since September 2021. Shane has held various leadership roles, including Director of Vehicle Manufacturing and Senior Manager of Manufacturing, Vehicle Integration & Test. Prior to Relativity Space, Shane worked at Virgin Orbit from June 2018 to September 2021, where Shane advanced from Senior Integration Engineer to Manager of Integration Engineering. Shane’s early career included positions at SpaceX, Risk Management Professionals, and California Steel Industries, reflecting a strong foundation in manufacturing and integration. Shane holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
