Simone Mauri

Simone Mauri is a highly experienced technical program manager with expertise in propulsion systems and vehicle development. Currently serving as a Staff Technical Program Manager at Relativity Space since May 2024, Simone leads the development and qualification of the Aeon-R rocket engine, overseeing engineering, manufacturing, and financial performance. Previously, at Rivian, Simone held the position of Sr. Manager in Technical Program Management, where leadership of the Chassis system for the R1 family of trucks and SUVs was crucial to launching Dual Motor R1 vehicles. Simone's extensive background at Boeing includes various engineering management roles, where responsibilities ranged from managing airframe conversions and customer support efforts to leading the development of interiors for the 787 program. Educational credentials include an Executive MBA from both SDA Bocconi and the University of Toronto, alongside Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
