David B. O'Brien

David B. O'Brien has a diverse and extensive work experience in various industries. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President - Government Solutions at Reliable Robotics Corporation, where they lead engagements in the Department of Defense and Federal Government to drive enterprise mission success with autonomous aircraft systems. Prior to their current role, O'Brien was the President of Catalyst - A Consulting Firm, Inc., starting in 2010. David B. also consulted and spoke on various aspects of innovation and leadership.

Before their consulting career, O'Brien had a distinguished tenure in the United States Air Force. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Director of Acquisition Venture Strategy and Initiatives, where they led teams to leverage public and private technology investments for military missions.

Prior to that, O'Brien held the rank of Major General from 2015 to 2019. In this role, they promoted Air Force research and development, acquisition, test, production, and portfolio modernization.

Earlier in their career, O'Brien worked at Oracle and Sun Microsystems as a Senior Program Manager. David B. also had a long tenure at Lockheed Martin as a Contracts & Business Operations Manager, where they negotiated contracts, drafted agreements, and managed multi-million dollar deals.
