Sutirtha Hazra

Sutirtha Hazra is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Assistant Vice President for Energy Storage in the Research & Technology Group at Reliance Industries Limited since January 2023. Prior to this role, Sutirtha held the position of Deputy General Manager at Energy Internet Corporation, focusing on accelerating Zero Carbon Goals through Long Duration Energy Storage Systems, and served as Senior Engineering Manager at GE TRIVENI LIMITED, involved in product leadership and market studies. Additional experience includes leadership roles in thermal calculations at Skoda Power Pvt Limited, performance benchmarking at Triveni Turbine Limited, and design engineering at GE and Alstom Projects India Ltd. Sutirtha holds a Master’s degree in Energy Systems from Vellore Institute of Technology and a Certificate in Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College.
