Sang Kyun Cha is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in investment strategy, education, and technology. Currently serving as a member of the Investment Strategy Advisory Committee at Korea Venture Investment Corporation and founder of Freedom of Innovation Ventures, Sang Kyun Cha also holds the position of board member at SD BIOSENSOR INC. As a distinguished professor at Seoul National University and a member of the Senior Advisory Board for the National Education Commission of the Republic of Korea, Sang Kyun Cha plays a pivotal role in shaping digital AI education initiatives. Additionally, Sang Kyun Cha is involved as a limited partner in several venture capital firms, including GFT Ventures, Vertex Ventures US, and Rembrandt Venture Partners, and has served as chairman of the Korean AI Manufacturing Platform Initiative. Notably, Sang Kyun Cha was the founding chief architect of SAP HANA, contributing to the foundational development and global rollout of this in-memory database technology. Sang Kyun Cha holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in engineering from Seoul National University.
