Imran Shaik

Imran Shaik, CISSP GCIH, is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in securing cloud infrastructures and conducting comprehensive security assessments. Currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer at Remitly since August 2022, Imran previously held various roles at Oracle from May 2017 to August 2022, including Consulting Member of Technical Staff and Cloud Security Engineer for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Prior to that, Imran worked as a Senior Advisory Consultant at Ernst & Young, focusing on threat modeling, DAST/SAST programs, and secure software development lifecycles. Imran began a career in information security at Cigital, Inc., and has also contributed to academia as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Master of Science in Engineering Technology from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
