Ahmad Gafer has a diverse work experience in various fields. Ahmad started their career at Rachis Systems Sdn. Bhd. as an R&D Engineer from November 2017 to August 2018. Following that, they worked at Arab International University as an ACM-ICPC Coach, teaching C++, algorithms, and data structures, and coaching teams for ACM-ICPC contests from December 2016 to November 2018.
From 2014 to 2018, Ahmad was a Member in the Scientific Committee of the ACM-ICPC, where they had several roles such as a Judge, Problem Setter, Coach, Contestant, and Organizer. Ahmad participated in the ACM-ICPC World Finals in 2018 and 2019 held in China and Porto, respectively.
Ahmad'smost recent role is at REMY Robotics since March 2019, where they are working as a Robotics Software and Computer Vision Engineer. At REMY Robotics, Ahmad is part of a world-class team developing groundbreaking technological solutions for autonomous robot-run kitchens in the food-tech industry.
Ahmad Gafer completed their Master's degree in Robotics Engineering from HARBOUR.SPACE between 2019 and 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Automation Engineering at Damascus University from 2012 to 2017. Additionally, they have obtained the ICPCID certification from the ICPC - ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest.
