Dr. Jane Hornickel

Dr. Jane Hornickel currently serves as the Director of Engineering - Data Engineering at Renaissance Learning, where the mission focuses on accelerating learning for all individuals across diverse backgrounds. In addition, Dr. Hornickel chairs the Working Moms of Renaissance Policy and Culture Committee and previously held the position of Senior Product Manager for Platform & Interoperability. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Technical Product Owner at Schoolzilla, where the focus was on data operations and analytics, and Chief Neuroscientist at Wellscape Coaching. Dr. Hornickel founded Data Sense LLC to enhance educational program assessment and development, and has also served as an adjunct professor at Rush University and Director of Research at Hyde Park Day School. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and a post-doctoral fellowship in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Colgate University.
