Michael Piacentini

Michael Piacentini is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and securities law. Currently serving as Vice President and Legal Counsel at RenaissanceRe since November 2019, Michael advises on corporate legal matters, including SEC and NYSE compliance, public securities offerings, and corporate governance. Prior to this role, Michael was Assistant Vice President and Legal Counsel at Fried Frank from 2016 to November 2019, where responsibilities included advising on various corporate transactions across multiple industries. Michael’s legal journey includes internships at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Trade Commission, and other organizations, alongside academic achievements as Managing Editor of the Brooklyn Law Review. Michael holds a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and dual Bachelor's degrees from the University of Delaware in English and Business with a focus in Marketing.
