Leah Mason has experience as a Project and Event Coordinator at Renaissance Computing Institute. Prior to that, Leah worked as a Social Media Specialist II at Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, where Leah focused on digital marketing and statewide campaigns. Leah also has experience as a County Youth Coordinator, Outreach Educator, and SWITCH Program Assistant at Iowa 4-H, where Leah built partnerships, recruited volunteers, and implemented organizational policies. Leah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel and Textiles from the University of Northern Iowa.

RENCI (Renaissance Computing Institute) develops and deploys advanced technologies to enable research discoveries and practical innovations. RENCI partners with researchers, policy makers, and technology leaders to engage and solve the challenging problems that affect North Carolina, our nation, and the world. An institute of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, RENCI was launched in 2004 as a collaborative effort involving UNC Chapel Hill, Duke University, and North Carolina State University.
