Suparna Goswami, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Scientist at Renaissance Computing Institute, leading interdisciplinary research consortia in Bio-Medical research. Prior to this, Suparna worked as a UX Researcher at Meta and as a Data Scientist at the same institute. With a background in data analytics and research methods, Suparna has held various research and consulting positions in companies like TU Munich, IBM, and PricewaterhouseCoopers India. Educated at National University of Singapore, University of Calcutta, and Lady Brabourne College, Suparna holds a PhD in Information Systems, an MBA in Systems Analysis & Operations Research, and a BSc (Honours) in Physics.

RENCI (Renaissance Computing Institute) develops and deploys advanced technologies to enable research discoveries and practical innovations. RENCI partners with researchers, policy makers, and technology leaders to engage and solve the challenging problems that affect North Carolina, our nation, and the world. An institute of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, RENCI was launched in 2004 as a collaborative effort involving UNC Chapel Hill, Duke University, and North Carolina State University.
