Joshua Lawton

Joshua Lawton is an experienced electrical engineer with a focus on electronic design and integrated circuits, particularly in the automotive sector. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Renesas since July 2011, Joshua previously held the role of Sr. Staff Engineer at the same company, where responsibilities included the design of mixed signal integrated circuits. Prior to Renesas, Joshua was the Design Manager and ASIC Architect at Elmos North America inc., overseeing all aspects of the design and test group. In earlier roles, Joshua contributed as an IC Design Engineer, specializing in high voltage analog IC design, and worked as a Test Engineer at Teradyne. Initial career experience includes a co-op technician position at Corning Life Sciences. Joshua earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire in 1998.
