Tarun Negi

Tarun Negi is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in strategy, financial planning, and regulatory affairs. Currently serving as General Manager of Strategy at ReNew Power since March 2022, Tarun oversees the Solar Manufacturing Business Unit. Prior to this, Tarun held the position of Chief Manager in Financial Planning & Analysis at Sterlite Power, where responsibilities included forecasting, supporting IPO activities, and diversification efforts. Experience also includes significant roles at GMR Energy Limited as AGM of Strategy Planning, leading financial and regulatory initiatives for thermal power assets, and at TATA Power, focusing on regulatory and commercial strategies. Educational qualifications include CFA Level I & II, a one-year Executive Program in Finance from IIM Calcutta, a Management Development Program from SPJIMR, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rajasthan, complemented by an MBA from NPTI.
