Daniel Rose

Daniel Rose has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Daniel currently works at RES as an Energy Storage Engineer since September 2021. Before that, they worked as a Technical Performance Engineer - Wind at the same company from October 2019 to September 2021, where they provided data analysis, engineering expertise, and project management for RES asset management services.

Prior to RES, Daniel worked at Babcock International Group in various roles. Daniel was an Innovation and Technology Engineer from March 2019 to August 2019. Additionally, they held roles such as NDP Concept Design, Naval Ship Concept Design, Naval Ship Assembly, Build Strategy and Bids, Nuclear Programme Management, Marine Systems Engineer, and Quality Engineer during their tenure at Babcock from 2017 to 2019.

Daniel also had experiences in the academic and engineering sectors. Daniel was a founding member of the EUFS team at Edinburgh University Formula Student, where they managed the suspension design and manufacture team and served as the executive committee in finance and procurement from September 2014 to July 2017. Daniel also had engineering placement positions at Senvion UK Ltd and Romica Engineering, where they contributed to design innovation projects and collaborated on papers for the Royal Institution of Naval Architects Marine Design Conference.

Furthermore, Daniel gained experience as an intern operations engineer at Fugro from June 2013 to September 2014 and worked as an activity park instructor at Deeside Activity Park from April 2010 to September 2012. Daniel also participated in a Student Bursary Programme at the University of Aberdeen in June 2011.
