Jacobo Lansac Nieto

Jacobo Lansac Nieto currently serves as the Lead Edge Application & Analytics at RES since March 2023, where responsibilities include leading the Application team to connect data with value for Wind and Solar farm owners. Previously, Jacobo held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Anemo Analytics from December 2016 to August 2023, contributing to efficient data analysis in wind turbine technology and market dynamics. Academic foundation includes a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy and a Master’s Degree in Climate Change from the Technical University of Denmark, alongside a Grado en Ingeniería in Tecnologías Energéticas from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Additional experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant at the Technical University of Denmark, Research Assistant at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and a private teacher from 2006 to 2015. Early career included a student internship at ACCIONA, focusing on capacity auctions in European power markets.
