Joe Wootton Miet Miam

Joe Wootton MIET MIAM has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Joe currently serves as Solar O&M Partnerships at RES since December 2019. Prior to this, Joe worked at British Solar Renewables (BSR) for almost seven years. During their time at BSR, they held the position of Head of Operation and Maintenance, where they managed a wide range of utility-scale solar and storage projects in the UK and internationally. Additionally, they also served as Technical Manager at BSR. Before joining BSR, Joe worked as Operations Director at Ecofirst for three years. Joe started their career at Hutchison 3G as a Project Delivery Manager, where they spent six years delivering projects. Joe also worked briefly at Laser Scan as a Customer Support Engineer. With their extensive background in project delivery, operations management, and renewable energy, Joe brings a wealth of experience to any organization they are a part of.

Joe Wootton MIET MIAM completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Environmental Geoscience from The University of Sheffield, from 1995 to 1999. In 2007, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip) in Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies from the Centre for Alternative Technology. Joe obtained a Certificate in Asset Management from the Institute of Asset Management in 2018. In 2019, Joe Wootton MIET MIAM completed the MSP Practitioner Certificate in Programme Management from The Knowledge Academy.
