Mafalda Moleirinho is an experienced research and development professional currently serving as R&D Project Manager at Renova since April 2023. Previously, Mafalda worked at iBET - Instituto de Biologia Experimental e Tecnológica from September 2016 to April 2023, holding roles as Research Associate and PhD student, with a focus on advancing purification techniques for biotherapeutic particles. Mafalda's academic journey includes a PhD in the MIT-Portugal Bioengineering systems program and contributions to various projects, including a Master Thesis on novel downstream strategies for enveloped virus-like particle purification. Earlier experience includes a Junior Research position at iBET and internships focused on downstream processing and phenotype studies. Mafalda holds an Integrated Master degree in Biological Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, completed in 2015.
