Christopher Cioffi

Christopher Cioffi is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology and holding the Thomas and Constance D'Ambra Endowed Chair at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute since January 2022. Prior to this role, Christopher was an Associate Professor of Medicinal Chemistry and Assistant Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences from July 2016 to December 2021. Christopher's earlier experience includes a lengthy tenure at AMRI (Albany Molecular Research Inc.) from 2000 to 2016, where Christopher held multiple positions, culminating as a Senior Research Scientist II. Christopher holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and a B.S. in Chemistry, both obtained from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
