Mason Buttaci

Mason Buttaci is an I-PERSIST Student Mentor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, providing mentorship and support to freshmen students in general chemistry since February 2023. In addition, Mason serves as an Admissions Ambassador, leading campus tours and engaging with prospective students and their families. As the Assistant Soccer Coach for the U14 Boys Travel Team at Averill Park Youth Soccer League, Mason demonstrates leadership and coaching skills to enhance player performance. Previous experience includes working as Floor Staff at Regal, where Mason contributed to customer service and employee training, and as a Summer Camp Counselor for the Town of Poestenkill, overseeing activities for third-graders. Mason is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biophysics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, expected to graduate in May 2026, following a high school diploma from Averill Park High School.
