Omar Shoura

Omar Shoura is a Software Engineer currently employed at Reprise since August 2023. Previously, Omar completed a Software Engineer Internship at Capital One, focusing on Cloud and productivity tools. As a Machine Learning Engineer at Liberty Mutual Insurance, Omar redesigned an insurance modeling library and developed data transformers that significantly improved deployment efficiency. Additional experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant at Khoury College of Computer Sciences, where Omar supported over 1,000 students, and as a Software Engineer at Generate Product Development, contributing to a prototype web application. Notable accomplishments include co-authoring a research paper during a tenure as a Research Assistant and achieving the title of Finnovate Finalist for a social trading platform project. Omar holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University, expected in April 2024.
