Taoufik Ait Ettajer

Taoufik Ait Ettajer is an experienced professional in the field of geology and geosciences with a diverse background in strategy, technology projects, and management. Currently serving as a Strategy Advisor at Repsol since July 2013, Taoufik leads multidisciplinary teams focused on subsurface technology projects in exploration and production, as well as low carbon initiatives. Prior roles include Subsurface Manager and Geoscience Lead at Repsol, where responsibilities encompassed coordinating geological projects in the Gulf of Mexico. Taoufik's earlier experience includes senior geology positions at Saudi Aramco and technical advisory roles at Paradigm Geophysical, alongside founding positions at Earth Decision Sciences Middle-East and T-Surf. Taoufik holds a Master's degree in Geology, a Ph.D. in Geosciences/Computer Sciences, and a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing.
