Sam Zakrzewski

Sam Zakrzewski is a Senior Solutions Architect at Rescale, focusing on high-performance computing for cloud applications since May 2022. Previously, Sam served as the Simulation Competence Center Team Lead at FLSmidth for 14 years, where responsibilities included managing a global team of simulation engineers and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Additional roles at FLSmidth encompassed Technical Lead for Simulation Infrastructure, establishing HPC capabilities, and Fluid Dynamics Specialist, concentrating on multi-phase flows in mineral and cement industries. Earlier experience as a Development Engineer at Haldor Topsøe involved working on advanced heterogeneous catalysis technology. Sam Zakrzewski holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UNSW and a BSc in Fuel and Combustion from the University of Leeds.
