Research Institute of Molecular Pathology (IMP)
Jingkui Wang is a skilled bioinformatician and computational biologist with a strong background in analysis of high-throughput sequencing data. Currently holding a position at the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology, they work in the Tanaka group focusing on single-cell RNA-seq and single-cell ATAC-seq data analysis. Previously at IMBA and EPFL, Jingkui has experience in epigenetics, transcriptioanl regulations, and characterizing transcriptional landscapes. With a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Lille 1, their expertise also extends to statistical physics and molecular motors.
Research Institute of Molecular Pathology (IMP)
The Research Institute of Molecular Pathology (IMP) in Vienna is a basic biomedical research institute largely sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim. With over 200 scientists from 40 countries, the IMP is committed to scientific discovery of fundamental molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying complex biological phenomena. Research areas include cell and molecular biology, microscopy, immunology and cancer, developmental biology, chromosome biology, and computational biology.
