Katie Rook

Katie Rook is an accomplished actuary with extensive experience in risk management and regulatory initiatives within the insurance industry. Currently serving as Vice President Risk Actuary at Resolution Life since June 2025, Katie previously held significant positions at Equitable as Head of Actuarial Regulatory Initiatives, where duties included implementing GAAP and Statutory reserving changes. Prior to that, Katie spent nearly eight years at Prudential Financial in various actuarial director roles, focusing on statutory standards, regulatory coordination, financial reporting, and pension risk transfer. Katie began the career as an actuarial intern at Mercer and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Northwestern University and a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Connecticut.
