Alexandre Lussier has worked in various roles since 1994. Alexandre began their career as a Foreman and Tree Planter at Celtic Reforestation in 1994. In 1999, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at Montana State University. From 2006 to 2014, they worked as a Research Scientist and Adjunct Instructor at the same university. During this time, they addressed durability and degradation issues for solid oxide fuel cell materials, designed laboratory equipment, conducted experiments, analyzed scientific results, and published findings in scientific journals. In 2013, they became a Solar PV Installer, Planner, and Educator at Bozeman Green Build. Their tasks included photovoltaic system design and wire size calculations. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Developer at Gallatin Alpine Sports, researching and developing an e-commerce website solution. Since 2015, they have been the Owner, Designer, and Builder at Madera Carpentry, Woodworking, Design, and Fabrication. In 2022, they began working as a Staff Scientist at Resonon.

Alexandre Lussier earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Physics from Western Colorado University from 1998 to 1999. Alexandre then went on to earn their PhD in Physics from Montana State University-Bozeman from 1999 to 2005.
