James Simmons has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. James started their career in 1995 as an Owner/System Administrator at Broadway Internet in Saskatoon, SK. James then moved on to CADVision and CADVision Internet, where they served as a Domain Registrar, Hosting Supervisor, and later became a Product Manager. In 2001, James joined TELUS Communications Inc. as a Product Specialist, holding various product management positions. In 2002, they became a Product Manager at TELUS, based in Calgary, AB. From 2001 to 2008, James also operated their own web hosting business called Belchfire.net. In 2007, they worked as a Linux System Administrator at WAM Interactive. Since 2008, James has been working at Resource Energy Solutions Inc., initially as a Client Fulfillment Manager, then as the Director of Technical Services & Support, and currently holds the position of VP Technical Services & Support.
James Simmons has a Certificate in Oilpatch 101 from NAIT, obtained in the year 2009. Prior to that, they attended Mount Royal College - Calgary and obtained an AB degree, although the start year is not specified. Before college, James attended Scarlett High School - Calgary and completed their high school education in the year 1988. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Compelling Sales Presentations from Dale Carnegie Training in August 2015.
