Aaron Bergman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy and environmental policy. Currently serving as a Fellow at Resources for the Future since June 2022, Aaron previously held significant roles at the U.S. Energy Information Administration, including Team Lead for Macroeconomics and Emissions and Senior Policy Analyst from September 2017 to June 2022. Prior to that, Aaron was a Senior Policy Analyst at the U.S. Department of Energy, and also served as an AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow, contributing to the White House Council on Environmental Quality and the Office of Science and Technology Policy. Aaron's academic background includes a BS in Mathematics and Physics from Yale University and a PhD in Physics from Princeton University, complemented by postdoctoral positions at the University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&M University.
