Resources for the Future
Amy Ando currently serves as a Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics at The Ohio State University since July 2023. Amy holds a position as a University Fellow at Resources for the Future, a role initiated in June 2015. Previously, Amy was a Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 1999 to July 2023, where contributions included serving as co-director of the Center for Economics of Sustainability, co-coordinator of the Program in Environmental and Resource Economics, and co-organizer of the Heartland Environmental and Resource Economics Workshop. Amy also held the position of Vice President at the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists from January 2018 to December 2019, and was a Fellow at Resources for the Future from 1996 to 1999. Educational background includes a Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1990-1996) and a BA in Economics from Williams College (1986-1990).
